FI earned the rank of Eagle Scout with Puerto Rico’s Troop 505 by leading a project that planned and installed an industrial recycling container at Wesleyan Academy, founding a school-wide recycling program that continues to operate today. To ensure its sustainability, I recruited and trained a team of younger students to manage the program after my graduation. Beyond my Eagle project, one of my proudest accomplishments with Troop 505 was serving as crew leader for our 12-day trek at Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico, where I was responsible for guiding and supporting our team through a challenging backcountry expedition.
